The Sarcoma REACH Annual Fundraising Gala is a signature event for Life Waters Ministries
International, created to raise research funds and support individuals and families affected by
Sarcoma Cancer through hope, resources, and community. Our fundraising goal this year is $95,000.
Eleven years ago, in 2015, Sarcoma Cancer became deeply personal to the family of Dr. Negleatha
Johnson, LWMi co-founder, when her sister Diane (pictured below) was diagnosed with Uterine
Leiomyosarcoma Cancer. Just 16 months after her diagnosis, Diane passed from this disease. Her
diagnosis shifted the direction of LWMi and became the catalyst for Sarcoma REACH (Research,
Education, Access, Cure and Hope).
